The malfunction of slats or flaps will impact the aircraft's pitch and stall speed.
Slats allow the wing to operate at a higher angle of attack.
If there is a slat failure and only the flaps operate, for instance, due to low hydraulic pressure in the green and blue systems, the aircraft's approach pitch may not be as high, but it becomes easier to trigger a stall warning.
On the other hand, if there is a flap failure, such as when the hydraulic systems green and yellow operate the slats only, the aircraft's pitch tends to be higher. However, in this scenario, the stall warning system is slightly more reliable.
